Quests read in the Drax Arcana
Quest: Where the wolves wander (Level 10+)
Summary:
When on the world map at night the player will hear the sound of a wolf howling when the quest is accessible. Hidden on the mountainside is an entrance to a wolf-den where the player finds the corpse of the researcher. The den remains vacant until the player attempts to exit whereupon they must fight the Wolfmother.
Rewards: 750xp, Fang blade, Pack totem
Additional effects: Random encounters with wolf-kin happen on regions surrounding mountainsides.
Quest text:
The common variety werewolf is beholden to its pack mother. She, in keeping with wolfian tradition, often litters but one set of cubs a year. Mostly keeping to themselves the werewolf likes to remain close to its den. Dens are quite often to be found in areas dense with caves and close to forests. It is much to my dismay as a researcher that such places are so inhospitable as to make repeated journeys there more troubling than rewarding. But in recent years there has been little to no new studies done on one of Dystalia's most majestic and misunderstood inhabitants.

Quest text:
As everyone knows dogs love ham. It's a fact. One dog, in particular, loved ham most of all. That dog himself was called Ham. His owner always used to give him as much ham as he could eat. Ham really enjoyed being a dog, especially living so close to such a nice and big field. One day whilst out exploring Ham smelled something really nice. Really really nice! Soo nice it could only be one thing. “Ham!” Thought Ham. Following his nose this way and that it wasn't long before Ham realised he didn't know the smells here anymore. He didn't know the trees here either. “Oh no!” Thought Ham. “I'm lost!” Ham barked and whined and boofed but no one came to find him. Ham's master laid out his favourite food every day but Ham was too far away to smell it. The master still hopes Ham will come back because his favourite meal is always there waiting for him.
